AQUA4D and Ascentium Capital bring scalable water-smart tech for agriculture and landscape irrigation in the U.S.

August 29, 2023

VISALIA, CA, & KINGWOOD, TX – Aug. 29, 2023 – AQUA4D US LLC and Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, on Tuesday announced a new collaboration designed to enable businesses to quickly and affordably put the latest technology for water efficiency into service.

The AQUA4D® system addresses some of the most pressing problems facing American agriculture today: water scarcity and land degradation. The company’s water treatment technology was developed to improve water penetration and boost the dissolution of minerals and fertilizers in irrigation water. These effects in turn create a range of benefits including water savings, the sustainable management of salinity, and significant fertilizer savings.

With salinity and water scarcity increasing in the U.S., the need for such technologies has never been greater. To help scale up implementation, Ascentium Capital has developed a customized financing solution to make AQUA4D® technology accessible for agricultural, landscapes or sports irrigation.

“Ascentium Capital is committed to providing the customized equipment financing that companies need to grow and thrive in today’s economy,” said Andrew Baccaro, Vice President of Sales for Ascentium. “Our work with AQUA4D is a natural extension of our focus on helping clients attain technology and products that enable them to operate more effectively and build long-term success. The spirit of innovation that produced this water treatment solution at AQUA4D is the same spirit of innovation that drives our teams at Ascentium in providing fast, flexible financing options for business clients.”

Active in the U.S. since 2018, AQUA4D has several high-profile installations at almond and pistachio orchards, fruit farms, nurseries, as well as landscapes and sports. The technology is modular to fit any flow rate, with a “Technology-as-a-Service” concept overseen by a team of agronomists. In September 2023, the company expects to also launch a groundbreaking new system for pivot irrigation.

“We have been looking for a solid financing provider for our customers in the States, and we’re delighted to have found that in Ascentium,” said Yvain Mirabal, AQUA4D’s USA Manager. “American ag is facing multiple challenges, which our tech can help alleviate, so we want to make sure financing is not a stumbling block and that our innovative technology can be available to all who need it.”
